Dansfield Parks plant has been engineered to the tasks of processing high quality, natural oysters.
The plant is situated at the waters edge next to the harvesting areas. This ensures the oyster is processed in a completely fresh condition producing a world-renowned superior product. Our growing water quality exceeds the international standards set by the worlds leading aquaculture authorities. All procedures in our process comply with IAIS (NZ Fishing Industry agreed implementation standards) A very important part of Dansfield Parks quality control methods are the all-inclusive testing and monitoring programmes. These testing and monitoring programmes are world advanced ensuring the absence of damaging organisms, chemicals and toxic planktons. Dansfield Park oysters are processed using New Zealand Government methods - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Programmes (HACCP). This wide-ranging globally recognised programme ensures the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the process. The Dansfield Park processing plant is USFDA approved and is shortly to gain EU approval. All these procedures enable Dansfield Park oysters to be sent to the world markets with the assurance that the highest quality product is being delivered to discerning consumers. |
